Let's Grow Up

When we were just a child, we had many dreams . At that age ,we imagined we can ride the stars and roam across the sky as superheroes . I believe , childhood is the time when a person is at the peak of fearlessness in their life ,when they don’t have a clue about the reality of the world , when they don’t care or know enough to think about what others say .

But well nothing lasts as Time flew and at some point we all grew up . At this process of growing up ,we lost our dreams and on the way we lost ourselves. We stopped wanting to be superheroes and we stopped whispering to the stars .Why? We grew up right? And if we still did that we are labelled “immature” we are “illogical” cause superheroes only existed in the comics right? And then we become busy trying to get by another day .Trying to fit ourselves into the molds created by others . Our heart stopped. We shut our eyes and saw the world through others . Well we had to grow up right?

But lets go back for a moment the child who used to dream of being a superhero and the grown up who don’t dreams but wishes to just get by another day.

What’s the difference?

The difference I see that Growing up here meant giving up ,being mature meant shutting your eyes .The person who you are now is a shadow trying to curve yourself into the so-called “Grown UP”.What you are now is just a person who lives in the fear of being judged. You aren’t living you are just a ghost blended in the background .Here you don’t want to be a superhero not because you can’t nor that you aren’t able to .Its cause YOU don’t .

But the moment when You open those tightly shut eyes of yours and look up at the sky And dream that U are a Superheroe . Yup people will say Grow up u are being irrational.But despite of hearing this ,when you you still keep dreaming , the point you realize that you do want to fly ,the point you embrace this so called irrationality . AT that one small moment , You conquer those skies , U Grow Up . Because growing up never meant to stop dreaming .IT meant to keep chasing your dreams despite all the judgements you face. Its not wanting to be exceptional .Its being U .

We think everyone fails but not everyone is successful .Exceptions aren’t example we say. And this is the so called reality .

We say dream big But dreaming big isn’t to dream about being others . I think dreaming big is to being the best version of yourself . Thinking out of the box isn’t to work at google ,its to create your own brand that’s not google .You may dream to be a Bill Gates if that’s what you want but when you aspire to be yourself only then You can cross the stars. Its not to be another Mark Zuckerberg Its to be who YOU are... Above all you become who you want to be ,U dream what you love to.

You should learn to see the world how you want to see it cz perception is reality. And at the end of the day we all are that child who dreamt of saving the world .Some grew up and embraced reality .While some others Molded themselves into the version of others to be So called GROWN UPS and just struggling to get by . Some made the dreams their reality while others gave up their dreams for the reality.

TO be a superhero U don’t need to save the world , You need to be you and that’s enough . When someone says Superheroes don’t exit in reality and that’s when you say they don’t that’s why you have to . That’s when You grow up .And to all those who are so called “grown ups” if you are reading this ,plz once look at the stars and be the child you were. Maybe then the world might ridicule you but you won’t just be fading away you will start living the life you deserve and want.

Each and every one of us is a superhero in our own way .Some are mature enough to embrace it while others just mold themselves into the peoples so called reality.
